Pipe tig welder — Stirling

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Stirling, Scotland. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 6+ years on the tools preferred.
