Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Faulkner County, Arkansas. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
