Now hiring: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Derby, England. You will work at a busy body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE 1+ years on the tools preferred.
