Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules The role involves maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe.
