UPVC door and window fabricator wanted in Garrett County

Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Garrett County, Maryland. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On the job you will handle: • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
