Gas pipe fitter wanted in Sumter County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Sumter County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
