Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plumber in Osceola County, Iowa. The job is at a sanitaryware showroom with a fitting service. Day-to-day duties: • Install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs • Fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves Requirements: • Own a basic set of plumbing hand tools • 2+ years' hands-on plumbing experience • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
