AC mechanic • Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy AC installation company. Your main tasks: • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving You should have: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred 4+ years on the tools preferred.
