Cold room technician wanted in Kennebec County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Kennebec County, Maine. You will be based in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
