Machinist wanted in Ogle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Ogle County, Illinois. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided.
