Fire and safety officer — Christian County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Christian County, Missouri. You will be based on a high-rise building project. You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
