Precision welder wanted in Miami County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Miami County, Ohio. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 3+ years on the tools preferred.
