Production line operator • Kings County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production line operator in Kings County, New York. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. On a typical shift you will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
