Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Sebastian County, Arkansas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
