Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass cutter in Barnsley, England. You will be based on a high-rise facade project. On the job you will handle: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Requirements: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Full-time, day shift. £3,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
