Tower crane operator • Luna County, New Mexico

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Luna County, New Mexico. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
