Urgent requirement: structural MIG welder (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 2+ years on the tools preferred.
