Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Shelby County, Iowa. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Full-time, day shift.
