Furnace operator wanted in Conejos County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Conejos County, Colorado. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Full-time with occasional weekends.
