Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Barry County, Missouri. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
