Smash repairer — Kodiak Island Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will work at a commercial fleet workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates What we are looking for: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
