Immediate opening: external wall insulation fitter (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Marion County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy building site. You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane On the job you will handle: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
