Day to day you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
