Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Telford and Wrekin, England. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs On the job you will handle: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
