Ceiling and wall plasterer — Torrance County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Torrance County, New Mexico. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster Requirements: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Rotating shifts. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
