Immediate opening: ironing operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Victoria County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
