Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Delta County, Michigan. You will work in a busy laundry. You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Rotating shifts.
