Garment machinist wanted in Sherman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Sherman County, Oregon. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 5+ years on the tools preferred.
