Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Full-time with occasional weekends.
