Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Toombs County, Georgia. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
