Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Boyle County, Kentucky. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Rotating shifts.
