Heavy equipment operator • Taos County, New Mexico

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Taos County, New Mexico. The job is at a stone quarry. The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
