Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Craven County, North Carolina. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
