Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Cumberland County, Tennessee. The job is in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
