Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Cass County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Part-time with flexible hours.
