Now hiring: scaffold fitter (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Lucas County, Ohio. You will work at a high-rise building site. Your main tasks: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms We offer $260 per day plus benefits.
