Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Todd County, South Dakota. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
