MIG welder — Carter County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Carter County, Montana. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
