Argon welder wanted in Bridgend county borough

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Bridgend county borough, Wales. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
