Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ekeremor, Bayelsa State. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
