Lathe operator • Missaukee County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. Requirements: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day-to-day duties: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
