Steel fixing chargehand — Gbonyin

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Gbonyin, Ekiti State. Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
