Track-type tractor operator • Switzerland County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Switzerland County, Indiana. You will be based on a road construction project. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels The role involves: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
