Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Nicholas County, Kentucky. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
