Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Rotating shifts.
