Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Butler County, Iowa. The job is at a dry cleaner's. On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
