Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Walsh County, North Dakota. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. What we are looking for: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Able to read basic scaffold drawings The role involves: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
