Join our team: horizontal milling machine operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Meals and transport allowance provided.
