Track-type tractor operator wanted in Crenshaw County

Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. Your main tasks: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Six days a week, one day off.
