Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Dickinson County, Kansas. The job is in a busy paint shop. You should have: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg The role involves: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating 5+ years on the tools preferred.
